Career Development Part 10

As part of the post-production phase, I spent almost an entire week completely focussing on implementing an audio system. In my CDP I discuss being proficient at documenting and sourcing audio but weak at actually implementing it. So this experience was meant to directly address that fact, complete with both music and SFX.

As the beta testers claimed the average completion time of the game was around 20 minutes I knew a heavier focus should be placed on SFX compared to music. So in total there are four songs that make up the two stages with a SFX to accompany almost every player interaction. Some of the sounds were actually edited using Audacity by yours truly to fully bring out the potential of the audio.
